These are all the restrict substances prohibited to use in all electrical and electronic equipment import into the 25 member states of the European Union countries.  While starting from July 1st, 2006, the European Union also introduce another Environmental Directives WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) 2002/95/EC.  This Directive demanding reduced material waste during manufacturing processes and requiring a Re-use/Recycle & Recovery rate of at least 75%.
