Removing Microsoft Office Ready 2007

As part of a new program that Microsoft has launched, ASI is installing Microsoft Office Ready 2007 onto the majority of it's system builds.

End users will be able to test drive the Microsoft Office 2007 suite for 60 days, and if at any time during or after the trial, the customer decides to purchase the software they can do so from their reseller or online directly through Microsoft.

There will be a few customers who choose to remove the Office Ready 2007 program from their computers, we have provided the easiest method below. This should take about 10 minutes.
Removing Microsoft Office Ready 2007

1.) Click Windows button and then select Control Panel

2.) Under Programs, select "Uninstall a Program"

3.) Select "2007 Microsoft Office system" and click Uninstall

4.) Do the same with the following Programs:
  • Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites
  • Business Contact Manager for Outlook
  • Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components
  • Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies
  • Microsoft Office Accounting 2007 (will uninstall the next 4 accounting applications)
  • *Microsoft Office Accounting ADP Payroll Addin
  • *Microsoft Office Accounting Equifax Addin
  • *Microsoft Office Accounting Fixed Asset Manager
  • *Microsoft Office Accounting PayPal Addin
  • Microsoft Office Small Business Connectivity Components
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005
  • Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
  • Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support Files (English)"
  • Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer

5.) Reboot as necessary
