Q: When
loading Windows XP Professional on my newly created S-ATA RAID array, why do
I keep getting the error: "Setup did not find any hard disk drives
installed on your computer"
A: We have
found two issues that will cause this issue to occur; The customer may be
trying to load the VIA RAID driver onto the system. The S-ATA controllers
and their RAID functions are handled by the Intel 82801ER S-ATA RAID
controller on the motherboard. The customer may also be attempting to use
the driver which is supplied on the CD which ships with the motherboard from
the manufacturer. We have found that this driver does not work. Please
download the updated driver below.
