Intel DG33TL Legacy Considerations

This board differs from other Intel Desktop Board products, with specific changes

including (but not limited to) the following:

No parallel port

No floppy drive connector*

No serial port on the back panel

The serial port header is located near the memory sockets and may require a specialized chassis or cabling solution to use

* Not having a legacy floppy connector means if you setup the onboard RAID (and possibly even if you use the default native SATA mode) you will need to use and EXTERNAL USB floppy drive to preinstall the Intel RAID drivers. Please note that if you have problems installing the driver using a USB floppy you may have to switch drives.
